Currently, there are about 3.5 million SMEs (including small businesses) in Japan. AIPA trains certified consultants to connect IT vendors with SMEs and promote use of AI and IoT as well as matching partners with each other.

In implementing business innovation using AI and IoT, it is important not merely to adopt and use either AI alone or IoT alone but to gather data using IoT, collect the data as Big Data, and then analyze it using AI, before finally putting it to use in business innovation while also protecting the data.

IoT, Big Data, and AI are used in management innovation by simultaneously protecting and utilizing data, starting with gradual business improvements, and then linking these to management innovation through an upward spiral.
